Albany State University Online Learning

With essential support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the California State University Long Beach, MERLOT (www.merlot.org) and SkillsCommons (www.skillscommons.org), the collaboration and community of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are designing and deploying strategies to make college more affordable by reducing the cost of course materials.

ASURams Global's Affordable Learning Solutions Portal provides free access to textbooks, virtual labs, and faculty resources to reduce the cost of course materials for students. This portal will serve as a hub for faculty to access open educational resources and for HBCU institutions to collaborate and share resources. In addition to providing access, the ASURams Global Affordable Learning Solutions Portal will provide resources to support faculty to effectively incorporate this affordable course content in their classes.

IT IS EASY!

First: Become a member of MERLOT (It will take about 2 minutes and it is FREE).

Second: Fill out the online form to contribute a Material. (It will take about 4 minutes the first time. MERLOT provides systematic instructions on our YouTube Channel and a handout (PDF).
